Max Kennedy

Max Kennedy is the founder of The Good Market Company, an events company which opens and operates weekly food markets around London. Having run the company for over ten years, he has extensive experience in running events specifically inside London parks and currently runs weekly markets in Victoria Park, Lloyd Park and Crystal Palace Park attracting over twenty thousand customers a week. Before starting his company, Max worked for fifteen years as a Strategy Director in advertising agencies and has a background in branding, marketing and creative thinking.

As a Trustee Max brings a track record of launching, operating and attracting visitors to park events and working collaboratively with local government Parks Teams. 

Max has lived in Hackney for over 20 years. Having grown up on a farm in Essex on the edge of a forest, he visits Abney Park regularly to escape the city and reconnect with nature.  He believes passionately that Abney Park is a hugely important local asset and should be preciously preserved.
