An immersive, site specific performance/ritual to herald the point between autumn equinox and winter solstice, when the living catch glimpses of our ancestors.  Abney Park Chapel is the perfect atmospheric space to conjure this turning point in the seasons, as winter draws in and dusk approaches. 

We invite you to look into the shadows, to hear the voices, to feel the immaterial, to smell the memory... lifting the veil between the worlds, summoning the energies of the past in celebration of unity.

The Crossroads is brought to you by Serena Bobowski, Catherine Maffioletti, Kay Elizabeth, Taragh Bissett. We are four artists who come together with a collective vision. Previous works at Shunt, 100 Years Gallery, Decompression, Bad Fruit and Mare Street Market.

Access Information: Service dogs welcome. Accompanying carers welcome. Ramp access at Church Street entrance, evel access at Stoke Newington High Street entrance. The ground floor of the Chapel is fully accessible and there are accessible toilets available onsite.
